Here is a quote from a donor family who wrote to the Donor Transplant Co-ordinator after the first thanksgiving service. "It has been ten years since I lost my son. You don't ever get over the loss, you just learn to cope. On my "down" days and "if only" days (of which there are still a lot) I do feel that we are the forgotten ones but the service really has made a difference. Also thank you for the shrub. It has pride of place on our terrace and has two beautiful flowers. Thank you all again, because it did mean a lot." Return to TOP
