Domain Lodge is used by the New Zealand Liver Transplant Unit for accommodation for patients and caregivers from outside Auckland pre- and post-transplant, when Transplant House is full.  Domain Lodge is owned and operated by the Auckland Division of the Cancer Society of New Zealand Inc.  It is close to Auckland Hospital, no more than a three minute walk, and also on the LINK Bus service.

This is an example of one of their rooms, and is a typical superior class motel / hotel room.  The room types range from studio units and family suites to fully self-contained 1 or 2 bedroom apartments.

All you need to supply are your own clothes and food, everything else is provided within Domain Lodge, including three coin-operated laundries.
